Hello,
I'm Pratyay!
I am a CS research student at IIIT-H.
I am a tech enthusiast and hobbyist graphic designer.
I currently live in Thane, Maharashtra.
My Personal Interests
- I am a big foodie, the 'live to eat' kind.
- I am really into graphic design, allow me to flex a bit: I've designed the May 2021 Ping! magazine cover page, the UG2K20 batch logo (unofficial) and recently, the cover page for a book my grandma has written. I want to get into UI/UX too in the near future.
- I play a few musical instruments but at a very basic level, namely, the keyboard, the flute and the marching-snare-drum.
- In school, I was really into dramatics, participated in a lot of big inter-school events, doing improv and comedy skits mostly.
- The two sports I follow closely are Chess and Sumo Wrestling (possibly the most atypical brains-and-brawn combination)
- I am a FOSS enthusiast (i use arch btw)
- I love watching anime, it is a fantastic visual medium, lots of really creative projects going on all the time.
- I don't particularly care about music, anything that sounds good to me is good enough.

May 2021 Ping! Magazine Cover
I made this cover page to symbolise the desire of students to return to campus, during the COVID-19 quarantine period.
The campus is represented as Jagruti, the famous Banyan tree which the institute logo is based on.
